A shallow depth-of-field, close-up shot captures a vibrant cluster of purple Woodland Sage (Salvia nemorosa) flowers, dominating the right side of the frame. The individual florets are clearly visible, with some brown, dried tips. The textured stems are a darker, more muted purple. In the blurred background, other similar purple flowers extend to the left. Beyond them, red flowers add a pop of contrasting color. To the far left, a light yellow or cream-colored building with a dark roofline is softly visible. The rest of the background is a verdant blur of green foliage from trees and bushes, with a hint of a light sky at the top. The overall lighting appears to be soft and natural.
